Chris graduated from The Royal Academy of Music in 2009, where he was awarded the prestigious BMI prize for composition. He was immediately hired by acclaimed British composer James Seymour Brett. Since then, Chris has worked on several high-profile film and television projects as orchestrator, programmer and assistant music editor. Recent projects include Crusoe, starring Sam Neill and Sean Bean, and Planet 51, starring Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), John Cleese and Jessica Biel. Chris' own compositions have been widely performed in concerts around London and in Cambridge. He has collaborated on several film projects, most recently The Black Room (Jonathan Wolff) and The Finishing Touch, a Laurel and Hardy short premiered at The Bradford International Film Festival. He has also written for theatre; in 2008 he wrote the music for the highly acclaimed Dead Kat production of Macbeth (El West), and earlier this year he wrote the music for A Midsummer Nights Dream (El West). copyright © chris brown 2009 |
